2009 ASTR Conference

San Juan, Puerto Rico • 11-15 November 2009

The annual ASTR conference, held in conjunction with the Theatre Library Association (TLA), will take place in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The conference theme will be “Theatre, Performance, DestiNation.”

Conferences produce greenhouse gases because they involve flights and hotel energy use. To counterbalance the environmental impact, individuals and organizations can purchase carbon offsets, which support reforestation, energy efficiency and renewable energy projects. This year the Executive Committee has committed $1000 for carbon offsets, and invites ASTR members to purchase more through a voluntary check off on the registration form.
